Whether we like it or not, we’re all searchable these days.
It only takes a few seconds for anyone in the world to type your name into a Google search and access a vast amount of information about you, your job, your successes and experiences.
The first step to build your personal brand is making sure that you are comfortable with the information people see when they google you.
What are the first websites or directories that appear in the search? Did you remember you signed up to them? Is the information - i.e. company you work for, articles you have written, events you’ve attended - up to date? And if you click on the “Images” tab, what kind of photos come up?
