We are thrilled to announce the launch of a yet another new feature on the SoAmpli platform! ๐ŸŽ‰

From today, Admins will be able to sort their content into, not just channels, but also sub-channels. Now it will be even easier for you and your colleagues to find and share the great content you're creating!
There are multiple ways of using the function, whether you want to sort content based on theme, region, brand etc. ๐Ÿ˜Šย

Introducing the New Sub-Channel Feature in SoAmpli

How to create a sub-channel:
โ€‹

  1. To create a set-up with channels and sub-channels, start by selecting the "Add new channel" option in the left-hand side menu:ย

2. When you add a new channel proceed as normal (we have an article covering that here) you will notice we now have a drop-down menu called "Parent Channel":ย

4) If you're creating a normal channel just leave this option blank, if you're creating a sub-channel this is the point where you select which parent channel the sub-channel should belong under:ย

5) Once you have selected what we call the "parent channel" remember to consider if you want the channel to be open or closed ๐Ÿ”
The "Include in All Channels" option is the difference between the content showing in the main feed and being available to all colleagues, or if you select "No" the channel will be invite-only. Once you're happy with the set-up press "Create Channel":ย

5) You will then see the sub-channel show under the parent channel you have selected, and all members of the parent channel will now see the sub-channel. Once you unsubscribe a user from the parent channel they will automatically be unsubscribed from the sub-channels as well:ย
