2.3 Delete a post

2.1 Create a post
It’s easy to create a post! Once you’re logged in the SoAmpli app, click the “Create Post” button in the top right corner.

A new page will pop up. There, you can draft the body of your message. To post a link, click on the link key and paste your link in the dedicated box. To upload an image, simply select the camera icon on the right hand side of the link box

In the bottom right corner of the “Create a post” area, you’ll see a character count divided by social channel. This shows you the number of characters available on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. This helps you make sure you’ll have no problems posting directly to your accounts due to text limits.

According to a user’s status, content can be posted only internally or become “Amped” and be posted externally immediately.

2.2 Edit a post
Only admins and amplifiers can edit posts.

To edit or amend a post, click on the cog-shaped settings icon. Three options will appear: Amp/Unamp, Delete or Edit. Click “Edit” and proceed with your changes.

You will then be able to alter the content of your post and the channels that it appears on. Be sure to click the 'save' button after making your changes! Please note that when a post gets shared externally, any edits to the original post within SoAmpli will not affect the shared post. If you wish to edit it after it has been shared, please do so on the respective personal social channel.

2.3 Delete a post
Only admins and amplifiers can delete posts.

To delete a post, click on the cog-shaped settings icon on the right top corner of the post you want to delete. Three options will appear: Amp/Unamp, Delete or Edit. Click “Delete” if you don’t want that post to be visible on SoAmpli anymore.

Your post will be removed from SoAmpli. However, this will not automatically delete the post from an external social media page. To delete posts that have been externally, they must be deleted through the respective website.
